Good morning, Local 823. Very important advisement!

New Jersey is now implementing a plan whereby, if you purchase a new vehicle, you must return your old plates to the DMV. If you do not return your old plates to the DMV, your registration for the car you no longer drive will be suspended, which will lead to the suspension of your license. If your license is suspended while you are driving the bus, this leads to automatic discharge. Please make everyone aware that if you purchase a new vehicle and have old plates from your trade-in, you must return them to the DMV ASAP!
