Holiday Advisory,
Monday marks Martin Luther King Day, and as such, the paid holiday advisory is in effect.
Please be advised that holiday compensation for MLK DAY is contingent upon working your scheduled shifts immediately preceding and immediately following the holiday period. For example, if your standard days off are Tuesday and Wednesday, and you are absent on Monday, a physician's note will be required to receive holiday pay for Thursday, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Similarly, if your standard days off are Sunday and Sunday, and you are absent on the Friday following the holidays, a physician's note will be necessary for Thursday's holiday compensation. If your standard days off are Thursday and Friday, and you do not work on Wednesday or return to work on Saturday, a physician's note will be required for holiday compensation. For any inquiries or concerns, please contact me directly.
In Solidarity,
Elijah Spates Jr.
